Monday to Friday (8 hours) This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Controls Engineer to join a large FMCG organisation on a permanent basis. The successful Controls Engineer will be responsible for delivering automation improvement solutions and finding and rectifying faults on PLC-controlled equipment and networks. You will work alongside a highly skilled and well-established engineering team and complete continuous improvement projects to increase plant efficiency, reduce downtime and save energy and associated costs. Strong electrical bias Strong controls experience and understanding Experience of software development and programming including ladder logic Experience in fault finding and maintaining existing control systems, preferably with Allen Bradley (Rockwell) platforms (RSLogix500, Logix5000 etc.) Formal electrical automation training with an awareness of process and mechanical engineering Benefits for the Controls Engineer:
