Benefits & Perks: Holiday Allowance: 25 days + 8 BH (including up to 3 days for Christmas shutdown) Long Service Award: Up to 5 additional days for milestones in service Private Medical Insurance Group Life Assurance Group Income Protection Flexible Working Pension Scheme Referral Scheme Opportunities for professional development and training Competitive salary Travel opportunities for international customer visits Collaborative and innovative work environment Responsibilities: As a Controls Engineer, you will: Develop and support control systems for specialised automated machinery Programme and modify PLC, HMI, and Motion Control systems Configure networked control systems with distributed I/O Integrate vision systems for inspection and measurement Oversee machine safety compliance with international standards Prepare support documentation for manufacturing and testing Provide customer support and travel on-site as needed Identify opportunities for process and quality improvements Foster relationships with stakeholders to ensure project success Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience): HNC/HND or equivalent in a Software-related discipline Proven experience with PLC, HMI, and motion programming (preferably Rockwell Logix) Knowledge of safety PLC, Kinetix motion control, and Studio 5000 Strong communication skills, both written and oral Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and adaptable to change Ability to travel internationally (2-3 weeks, 4-5 times annually) Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience): Experience with Siemens Control systems and TIA Portal Familiarity with robotic applications (Yaskawa preferred) Knowledge of vision systems Technologies: PLC and HMI programming Motion control systems Vision systems (Cognex or similar) Networked control systems How to apply: If you are ready to take your career to the next level and be a part of an innovative team, please submit your CV detailing your relevant experience.
