Join Our Team as a Controls Engineer! Are you passionate about creating cutting-edge controls software for bespoke systems? We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. Your primary role will involve designing and programming PLC and Windows-based automatic control systems for specialized machinery. From commissioning Supertrack control systems to making critical PLC and software adjustments, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our systems meet the highest standards of functionality and reliability. You will be based in Banbury and offered a salary of up to 52K DOE. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop controls software for monorail projects. Conduct thorough testing and documentation of all software prior to deployment. Generate detailed electrical design documents and control system layouts. Commission and optimize control systems both locally and globally. Provide on-site support for commissioning and troubleshooting as needed. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance customer satisfaction. Required Skills and Experience: Proficiency in PLC programming and Windows-based control systems. Apprenticeship / HNC / HND in electrical/electronic/computer/IT discipline or equivalent practical knowledge and experience. Practical knowledge / experience of industrial/automated systems. Experience with monorail electrical systems and general industrial automation systems. Experience in commissioning and troubleshooting industrial control systems on sites. Strong understanding of electrical design and circuit diagrams. Knowledge of BS, EN, and safety standards. Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and support project teams.
