Controls Engineer
- South Yorkshire - £48-65k + overtime + private healthcare + flexi-time system Samuel Frank is recruiting an experienced Controls Engineer to join a rapidly expanding system integrator based in the South Yorkshire area. Control Engineers with writing code from scratch for a system integrator will be well suited to this opportunity. Responsibilities: Proven experience in developing PLC software for a range of major manufacturers e.g. Rockwell, GE or Siemens SCADA experience across a range of manufacturers e.g. Wonderware, Siemens, Rockwell, GE Functional Safety systems in accordance with IEC 61508 / 61511 Good knowledge of communication protocols Strong faultfinding on hardware and software Ability to write high quality Test & Functional Design Specifications The role will have an 80/20 split between working in the office and being based on customer sites If you have experience of functional safety and developing systems in accordance with IEC 61508 / 61511, working with Information Management Systems and working offshore, then that would be advantageous but not essential. Offshore work is not an essential part of the role. The successful Senior Controls Engineer will work as part of a project team delivering control system projects to the client's customer base.
