I'm partnering with a successful, innovative bakery business that's on the lookout for a skilled Controls Engineer to join their growing team. This company is well-known for producing high-quality baked goods and is committed to staying at the forefront of production technology. They're looking for someone with a passion for automation and controls to help drive the efficiency and reliability of their production processes. About the Role

As the Controls Engineer, you will be a key player in ensuring the bakery's production lines run smoothly and efficiently. You'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimising automated systems across a range of bakery equipment. This is an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a high-paced, exciting environment. Key Responsibilities include:

Maintaining and troubleshooting control systems for automated bakery equipment to ensure smooth production. Programming and configuring PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems to optimise efficiency. Collaborating with production and maintenance teams to identify areas for improvement and system upgrades. Managing automation projects from concept through to implementation, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met. Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including wiring diagrams and control schematics. Staying up to date with the latest in control systems and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. What You Can Expect
