Our client is a global leader in the Design and Manufacture of Production Line Equipment based in the Brierley Hill area. Due to ongoing success and growth of the business, they are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to join the team. Controls / PLC Engineer Position Overview
Specifying PLCs, software and related technology for out-of-date equipment Undertakes Modifications to Standard Control Panels to suit customers’ requirements Providing technical advice in the solution of equipment and processing problems for customers Configuration of HMI's Carrying out PLC based solutions on Control Upgrades Travelling to customer sites for commissioning and service purposes both in the UK & Overseas Controls / PLC Engineer Position Requirements
Strong background with Control Systems and Electrical Engineering / Wiring Experience with Ladder Logic Programming Understanding of Scada software and PLC controls such as Siemens, Allen Bradley & Proface Willingness to travel to customers, including some overseas travel Based in a commutable distance of Brierley Hill Good communication skills Controls / PLC Engineer Position Remuneration
Salary £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:00. Friday 08:00 - 14:00.
