PLC Controls Engineer - Manufacturing £45,000 - £50,000 per Annum DOE + Car Allowance + Training + Development Monday - Friday, 36.5 hours Location: Bridgwater Are you an Electrical Engineer with experience in PLC programming and design? Are you interested in joining an industry-leading manufacturing company in Bridgwater that prides itself on first-class training and development and excellent staff retention? Due to continued growth and the securing of major contracts, my client is looking to hire an Electrical Engineer who will be the 'go to' engineer within the business for all control system-related tasks. The successful candidate will be involved in the manufacture, modification, and repair of electrical/electronic control systems. You will be working on bespoke equipment within a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Bridgwater. Full product training will be provided. You will be working with high-profile clients across some of the most regulated engineering sectors such as Aerospace, Automotive, Nuclear, and Marine. This is an exciting role for a motivated candidate looking to progress their career within a well-established company at the forefront of their sector. The Role: • Manufacture, modification, and repair of electrical/electronic control systems • System and software design • Using CAD to create or amend schematics • Providing technical support to the engineering team • Occasional travel (Project Dependant) The Candidate: • Holds a relevant qualification in electrical/electronic engineering • Experience designing and programming control systems • Interested in developing into a lead engineering role within the business and becoming the 'go to' controls engineer • Experience with Siemens & Mitsubishi is desired • Lives a commutable distance from Bridgwater
