Due to the ongoing growth and development of the firm, we are looking to recruit an experienced Conveyancer or Paralegal to join our Residential Conveyancing team, to work from either our Carlisle or Cockermouth offices. We are keen to hear from both experienced Conveyancers and qualified Solicitors, Legal Executives, or Licensed Conveyancers, or those who are working towards qualification. A full-time role is available, but we will also consider candidates looking for part-time hours or a flexible working arrangement. The successful candidate will deal with a wide range of residential conveyancing transactions including leasehold properties, unregistered titles, new builds, and transfers of part of title. Experience in using a case management system is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will have a proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude to enable them to work closely with a team of legal fee-earners, paralegals, and legal assistants on all aspects of this work. The ability to work as part of a team is essential, together with excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills. What do we offer?

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate with the potential for longer-term career advancement in a forward-thinking law firm with a well-established client base. We provide a competitive salary, pension, 30 days holiday, and Private Medical Health Insurance; in addition, we will even give you your birthday off every year too! Our values of Togetherness, Balanced, Accountable, Progressive, and Integrity help to engender a culture of providing excellent client service within a caring and supportive internal environment.
