Conveyancing Assistant Location: Farnborough Job Type: Full-time Salary: £28,000-£35,000 (Depending on Experience) Develop your legal career with an award-winning Residential Property team known for providing long-term support to clients. We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistants to join our dynamic team and contribute to our reputation for excellence. Day to day of the role: Review local searches against previous records and manage Help to Buy loan redemptions in coordination with lenders. Communicate effectively with clients, sales offices, and developer solicitors, escalating complex inquiries to Fee Earners as needed. Verify mortgage offers and liaise with clients and lenders to address any queries. Follow up with clients for deposits and paperwork, ensuring files are prepared for exchange. Handle post-completion matters, including registrations and conducting search applications. Close abortive files and occasionally generate quotes and initiate files during peak periods. Draft and dispatch documents to buyers’ solicitors for sales. Required Skills & Qualifications: 2 years Conveyancing experience at a fast paced firm Minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. Proficiency in data entry with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
