This is a full-time or part-time on-site role for a Conveyancing Assistant located in Norwich, Norfolk. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the team on a range of Residential Conveyancing cases, with a view to progressing over time and running a small caseload of your own. Some experience of running freehold sale files would be beneficial. Responsibilities:

Supporting Fee Earners with general administrative tasks Dealing with clients over the telephone and face to face Completing Land Registry applications and Property searches Opening files and proceeding with initial stages of conveyancing transactions and due diligence checks Completing Stamp Duty Land Tax forms Post-completion procedures File closures Building a good rapport with Estate Agents and other parties Dealing with sale files with the assistance of the team members Future progression to running a small caseload of your own The ideal candidate will: Have strong administrative skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Be an excellent communicator Have exceptional time management Be organised, able to manage deadlines and prioritise when needed Be dependable Have the ability to adapt to new systems and procedures quickly with excellent IT skills Having previous experience of working within a Conveyancing Department is essential. This role is based in Norwich; however, occasional travel/support to our other offices may be required. Full-time or part-time applicants considered.
