£26,000.00 – £65,000 (depending on experience) Reports to:
Head of Conveyancing Acts on behalf of and gives legal advice to private and commercial clients under the supervision of the Head of Conveyancing. Progressing files by performing a variety of duties, including drafting legal correspondence, answering phones, greeting visitors, and communicating with solicitors and clients. Primary Responsibilities Build strong relationships with clients. Attend conferences with clients. Carry out file reviews and risk assessments. Efficiently and proactively communicate with clients, buyer and seller solicitors, estate agents, financial advisors, and HM Land Registry. Progress transactions promptly. Qualifications & Training Law Degree. Experience Previous experience in a fast-paced office environment. Qualities and Attitudes Communication skills: Ability to communicate well and in a professional manner with a wide range of people, from barristers and solicitors to their clients. Written communication skills: Excellent spelling and grammar; a high level of written English. Attention to detail: High level of accuracy when preparing legal documents or filling out forms and statements. Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with clients, lawyers, and other legal secretaries. Strong sense of discretion. Courteous and professional demeanor. Ability to cope well under pressure. Ability to work towards a monthly target. Knowledge Proficiency in MS Office and ability to work with legal technology (court-filing computer systems, transcription software, Dictaphone, etc.). Understanding of legal terminology, regulations, and court system (full training will be provided). Office Locations
