Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team in preparing delicious meals in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a flair for standards.
The role is Monday to Friday 7.30am - 2.00pm.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following recipes up to 180 meals a day. Understand weights and measures in recipes. Manage stock and comply with school food plan. Prepare and cook food for transport kitchen. Ensure food preparation areas are clean and hygienic. Monitor food stock levels and place orders when needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Complete and comply with health and safety standards. Qualifications
Proven experience as a Cook or kitchen assistant. Knowledge of food safety practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques. Job Types : Full-time, Part-time Pay : £12.50-£13.00 per hour Expected hours : 32.5 per week Benefits :
