Corporate and Commercial Solicitor or Legal Executive - Essex
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate and Commercial Solicitor or Legal Executive based in Chelmsford, Essex. Working on a full-time, permanent basis with flexible/hybrid working, the successful Corporate and Commercial Solicitor will work as part of an established team managing a diverse caseload.
The Role
Managing a caseload of Corporate and commercial matters from their instruction. Assisting clients with a diverse range of matters, including but not limited to business start-ups, mergers and acquisitions, shareholder agreements, and partnership agreements. Working to support the growth of a successful commercial department. Working alongside the team to achieve monthly targets and KPIs. Business development - working with the rest of the team to develop new opportunities and communicating our message to attract new clients.
Minimum Requirements
Previous experience in a similar role. Qualified as a Solicitor or Legal Executive offering at least four years PQE in Corporate and Commercial matters. Experience in management and business development is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. Experience in M&As, corporate deals, shareholder agreements, management buy-ins/outs, restructuring, financing, and general commercial work. Excellent communication skills - confident, clear, articulate, and welcoming.
