The Role: As a Corporate Broker, you will deliver a professional service to prospects, clients, and account executives for quotations, adjustments, and renewals across all classes of commercial and corporate insurance. You will uphold the highest standards of customer care, service, and client retention. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive insurance advice and services to existing clients. Liaise directly with clients in broking, processing, and daily administration of new business, mid-term alterations, and renewals. Negotiate with underwriters to secure the best insurance solutions at competitive prices. Ensure clients understand the terms and coverage in line with industry regulations. Arrange specialized insurance cover in complex cases, preparing reports for underwriters and surveyors. Advise clients on risk management and develop strategies to mitigate risks. Develop and maintain networks within and outside the company to stay informed and enhance understanding. Adhere to New Business and Renewal timeline procedures. Collaborate with Senior Brokers and Account Executives on new business cases and renewals. Maintain relationships with key market partners and provide updates to the team. Raise debits and credits accurately and liaise with accounts when necessary. Support less experienced staff with technical and underwriting expertise. Liaise with the Claims Department to assess the impact of clients' claim history on future business. Review and improve systems and processes to enhance efficiency. Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes impacting the role. Perform additional duties as requested by the Board. Knowledge and Skills: Minimum of 5 years commercial insurance experience. Minimum of 2 years experience with complex corporate accounts. Proficiency in computerized insurance systems. Professional qualification Cert CII or working towards DIP qualification. Experience in a broking environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Flexibility and adaptability to change. Excellent collaboration and teamwork abilities. Strong trading and organizational skills. Effective relationship management with internal and external stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Why Join?
