webpage. In this role as Corporate Communications Lead, reporting to the Senior Director, Corporate Affairs you will play a vital part in shaping Invinity’s message to the world. Working alongside the Director of Marketing and the Corporate Affairs Manager as part of the Corporate Affairs team, you will be at the forefront of stakeholder engagement, leading initiatives that inform, educate, and influence Invinity’s key stakeholder groups. Your messaging will reach customers and investors, both current and prospective, as well as politicians and policymakers. Role & Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of Invinity's ongoing Media Engagement and PR strategy. Activate campaigns and programmes which target the Company's key internal and external stakeholders. Act as the primary press contact and media liaison for the Company, setting up and staffing interviews for spokespeople, preparing comments, and press briefings. Collaborate with subject matter experts to author thought leadership pieces, whitepapers, and other reports as well as bring your expertise to bear as a subject matter expert. Manage external agencies as required. Monitor relevant market and industry developments to identify newsjacking opportunities. Report against key KPIs regularly. Work closely with and execute joint initiatives with colleagues within the Corporate Affairs team, supporting both Marketing and Investor Relations functions. Qualifications and Skills
3+ years senior experience within the energy PR / Media Relations space. Strong existing relationships with key energy and National journalists across Invinity’s core markets. A track record of successfully designing and implementing media engagement and thought leadership strategies. Demonstrated ability to write press releases, develop media pitches, and secure coverage opportunities. Outstanding copywriting and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and a proven ability to think up new ways of getting your message across to stakeholders. Able to manage working hours across multiple time zones. A team player, able to operate effectively and collaboratively within a wider team of specialists.
