Williams Racing is transforming in all areas in pursuit of its mission to win multiple F1 World Championships, and is investing in what it takes to win. The Commercial and Marketing team has three objectives: to grow revenue, grow the brand and grow the fanbase. As Corporate Communications Manager you will develop and execute communications activity in support of these objectives: telling our corporate transformation story to help attract new partners; amplifying the work we do with existing partners and licensees to reach new audiences; elevating our employer brand to attract new talent; explaining our environmental, social and economic impact to local and global stakeholders; and supporting Williams group businesses to drive revenue. Main Duties: Partner with the Head of Communications to design and deliver corporate communications activity that increases awareness and consideration of Williams Racing among target partnership prospect audiences, for example through business media, executive profiling, thought leadership and speaking opportunities. Develop and maintain a calendar of existing partnership activation and media activity, seeking opportunities to raise Williams’ profile with target audience groups including fans. Design and deliver a LinkedIn strategy for Williams Racing and senior executives in support of strategic goals, working with the Content team to execute. Design and deliver communications activity to best tell the story of how we are investing in the next generation of talent, through Early Careers programmes and our schools outreach programme. Work with internal teams to deliver communications around sustainability, Gender Pay Gap reporting, and social & economic impact. Work with other Williams group businesses (Williams Grand Prix Technologies, Williams Heritage and Williams Esports) on communications activity to help drive revenue. Requirements: A minimum of

five years’ experience

in house or in communications agency. Experience within the

F1 or Motorsport

industry is

highly desirable. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects at the same time under significant time pressure. Ability to develop and implement communications strategies aligned with organisational goals, drawing on data and insight and evaluated with measurable KPIs. Proven proficiency in leveraging social media platforms and digital tools to amplify corporate narratives, specialising in

LinkedIn

for both business and individual executive channels. Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills across multiple formats (press releases, social content, reports etc). Expertise in crafting messages and tailoring them for diverse audiences. Ability to work seamlessly in

cross-functional teams

to deliver successful outcomes. Ability to work with

external agencies

to design and deliver communications activity. Second and subsequent language proficiency beneficial but not essential. Additional Information

Note, whilst we are happy for this role to be based primarily in our London location, there will be a need for travel 2 days a week to our factory in Grove, Oxfordshire.
