We are looking for an experienced Associate to join Financial Sponsor Coverage team in Investment Banking in London. This individual will play a critical role in supporting origination and execution, financial analysis, and development of client relationships. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a deep understanding of financial modelling, market analysis, and corporate finance principles. The job is an opportunity to get a 360 view of Investment Banking across products, sectors and geographies. You will be supporting three senior bankers with a lot of exposure to interesting transactions across the firm working with the largest and most successful investors globally. Main responsibilities and duties of the role: Transaction origination and execution: support with deals across infrastructure, leveraged finance, fund finance, strategic equity capital markets, hedging and other Investment Banking and Global Markets products Financial analysis and modelling Preparation of content for and participation in client meetings Development and tracking of deal pipelines and opportunities Collaboration with M&A, product and sector teams across the firm by identifying and developing relevant content and deal opportunities Preparation of committee papers and participation in committee discussions to secure approvals for new transactions Support with development of other junior resource in the team Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, along with experience in similar positions. Seniority of the role can be adjusted based on the experience and skills. FCA certification. Understanding of corporate finance and capital markets, with familiarity in project finance being a plus. Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques. Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint. Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities, sound judgment, and excellent attention to detail. Strong work ethic and passion for delivering high-quality results are essential in a dynamic environment. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting is crucial. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong interpersonal abilities, necessary for collaboration and stakeholder engagement. Self-starters with a curious mindset who are eager to learn and contribute to the team's success are appreciated.
