Independent Regulator

in their search for a temporary

Corporate Governance Administrator

to provide Governance and Secretariat duties to Senior Board Members. You will be a key member of the team, providing support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of all governance committees and the Board. You will also be responsible for providing high-quality comprehensive support across a range of administrative functions and processes within the context of a fast-paced and high-profile team. In addition, you will be responsible for providing advice and support on Governance Good Practice and continuously making improvements throughout the organisation. The successful candidate must have good written English, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively and calmly. Proactive and solutions-focused, you will have the ability to follow the processes that are already in place. This role will be hybrid, requiring attendance at the Brighton Office for meetings 6 days per month, with flexibility for additional days as needed. Job Title:

ASAP Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative support for the Corporate Secretariat Team and, as required, to the wider corporate governance team. Update and improve key governance registers, documents, and templates. Responsible for administrative support for internal and external meetings as required, including drafting agendas from a forward plan and coordinating timings. Manage the Corporate Secretariat group inbox and effectively prioritise responses by replying to emails where appropriate or forwarding to the relevant Lead Associate and/or Board Secretary. Manage the expectations of stakeholders at all levels. Book team meetings and maintain the team action log/agenda planner, managing the Corporate Secretariat and Governance calendars. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with a proactive approach. Able to prioritise and have a flexible approach, with excellent organisational and administrative skills. Strong MS Office skills, with experience in formatting Word documents and creating and working with Excel spreadsheets. Strong MS Outlook skills with experience in calendar management and managing multiple meeting invitations and diaries. Strong and diplomatic communicator, comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels across the business. An understanding of confidentiality and data security.
