We're an International Tax Team working across every industry sector with a diverse and interesting range of clients - from entrepreneurial start-ups to large, global FTSE 100 companies. Responsibilities: Delivery of tax advice to your clients in conjunction with Partners Keep the Partner informed about any new business opportunities arising on existing and new clients Develop your own network of contacts internally and externally and start winning own work Collaborate with other tax specialists and BDO business lines to support your clients Respond quickly to, as well as anticipating, client requests/needs, keeping clients informed of progress in relation to all aspects of the service provided, and maintaining regular contact with clients Be responsible for coaching and developing junior members of staff in your team Get involved in other activities to support our team culture and wellbeing. We’re looking for someone with: Experience of providing corporate tax advisory and compliance services to a variety of clients Managing the successful delivery of commercially viable and technically excellent advice to a variety of clients involving tax due diligence, structuring, international and other advisory work and including liaising with specialists in other tax teams and overseas offices to manage their input Ability to undertake tax audits for clients under UK GAAP, IFRS and US GAAP (optional) Ability to prepare proposals for new work, including researching target client companies and on technical issues to identify new solutions Experience of managing staff Ability to actively seek opportunities for selling new services to existing clients Educated to degree level, and CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent You’ll be able to be yourself; we’ll recognise and value you for who you are and celebrate and reward your contributions to the business.
