remote and office-based
working is offered (3 days needing to be in the offices based near Lewisham). The Corporate New Business Manager will hold a portfolio of existing accounts; however, the emphasis will be to further expand the new business pipeline of donors from the private sector. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge and/or experience of Corporate Fundraising and Partnerships in the charity sector, as well as CSR in the Private Sector, and have an understanding of how each impacts both favourably. You will have excellent people and communication skills, strong initiative, and motivation to meet and exceed income targets, as well as the initiative to work independently at times while managing competing priorities. This role is for a self-starter who enjoys responsibility, is passionate, and excited to be part of this incredible team and help build upon their successes. Working within this tight-knit team, this role reports into the Head of Income Generation and offers much variety and responsibilities including: Managing a portfolio of existing Corporate Partners via Strategic Partnerships, Programme Funding and/or Sponsorship, Cause-Related Campaigns, and more. Liaising with the Programmes & Digital team to identify future funding needs. Presenting to partners and prospects to give organisational updates, pitching for new business/areas of funding. Identifying and maintaining a pipeline of new business prospects and funders to make approaches. Supporting Corporate Partnerships-related communications, including campaigns, newsletters, case studies, and social media to attract new organisations. Writing high-quality material, including new business proposals and partnership contracts. Researching and applying to new Charity of the Year opportunities. Encouraging Partners to enrol into Payroll Giving. Making sure that all approaches to Partners and prospects are tracked consistently. Working with the communications team to develop high-quality, engaging email marketing materials and communications. Representing the charity at internal and external events including networking events, Partner events, and launch activities, as and when required.
