Helpfulness. About the role Our client is a world-leading Telco in Australia, having a national presence across 5 major states. We are looking for highly skilled Security Officers to manage access into their facilities while observing and reporting on all security and property-related matters. The security team at these locations plays an important role in the safety and security of the site. As the first point of contact for visitors and staff when entering the facility, security officers at this location need to leave a lasting impression of exceptional customer service. Security officer roles will be working on a rotational roster arrangement which could encompass 12-hour shifts. This position is available in

to apply for this role. Key Tasks Provide a security service in line with the site SOPs and client's requirements in order to protect the client’s employees, property, and other assets. Deliver the highest levels of customer service which consistently demonstrate Securitas’ core values of

Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness. Conduct site patrols, access control, and respond to incidents around the site. Greet visitors and employees, issue keys/cards to authorized contractors, and monitor their activities for safety and compliance. Protect building occupants and real and personal property. Report writing and proficiency in Microsoft applications, including advanced use of Excel, Word, and Outlook. Monitor and use CCTV applications, emergency management, and fire systems. Must have a valid security license. Excellent communication skills, punctuality, and reliability. Ability to work independently, self-awareness, motivation, and teamwork. Proactive while maintaining discretion and confidentiality. Previous gatehouse experience is preferred but not compulsory.
