A legal 500 listed law firm with offices based across Lancashire are seeking an existing Partner or Senior Associate (Ideally 10 Year PQE+) to head up their highly regarded Corporate department.

The client base is second to none and is primarily 'city focused' rather than being local Lancashire businesses. This role is part of a progression plan so you would be working alongside an existing Director initially, before then taking over the reigns and leading the Corporate team. You will become an integral part of the firm right away and will enjoy a lot of direct client contact with key clients of the firm as well as contribute to building the department further by getting actively involved in the business development activities of the firm and the department. Whilst work is of a high quality, there is still a traditional feel to this practice and you will have the luxury of your secretarial support, a supportive management board that will guide you whenever necessary and fantastic work/life balance. A following is not essential due to the volumes of work and success they have seen recently. The firm are very work/life balance focused and can offer a generous hybrid working split, however there would be some travel to the Preston office needed to liaise with the Director and discuss plans for progressing & growing the team. All fee earners currently have the choice to work remotely, hybrid or from the office and this will continue to be in place. Salary will be based on experience level but will likely be in the realms of £75,000 - £100,000.
