The role focuses on assisting the business tax team with its client portfolio. In addition, you will be utilising your ATT/CTA qualification, gaining exposure to a broad range of OMB clients.
You’ll work on a range of tax
matters and deal with tax issues related to acquisitions and sales. More broadly, you’ll work on R&D matters, loan relationships, share schemes, tax due diligence, EIS/SEIS, and corporate group restructuring, among others.
As this is a senior role, you’ll also assist with and review the work of more junior staff members and provide coaching and training as and when needed. In addition, you’ll liaise with other departments within the firm, including the corporate tax team and audit teams. You will also shadow more senior tax staff, supporting them on projects and client relationships.
