As a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager, you will report directly to our Corporate Tax Manager and Corporate Partner. You must have experience in and detailed knowledge of all aspects of UK corporation tax and a sound grasp of other business taxes to ensure clients are fully tax compliant and identify tax planning opportunities. Exposure to international tax issues such as double taxation relief, double taxation treaties, transfer pricing, thin capitalisation, and CFCs would be ideal. Knowledge of Alphatax, CCH Central, Caseware, Digita, and Microsoft Office software packages would be beneficial. The role is largely office-based but may include instances of visiting client premises and some travel between our offices in West Sussex and Kent. The Corporate Tax Assistant Manager will be responsible for: Reviewing and preparing complex corporation tax returns and computations. Assisting the manager and partners with a wide range of ad hoc advisory queries. Helping train and supervise junior members of tax staff. Assisting with tax marketing. Requirements: CTA qualified with 2-3 years post qualification corporate tax experience, or qualified by experience. Attention to detail. What's in it for me?
