An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced tax professional to join a growing Southern Tax team as a Corporate Tax Director, based in Cambridge. This is a unique time to join the expanding Cambridge Tax team, as the firm continues to invest in its growth. The successful candidate will collaborate with leading professionals, providing exceptional tax services to a diverse client base. The Corporate Tax Director will work closely with senior stakeholders, including Partners and Directors, to develop new client relationships and lead on a diverse portfolio of engagements. The role will involve advising family-owned businesses, private equity portfolio companies, mid-cap firms, and start-ups on complex tax matters. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the growth of the Cambridge office while building their own expertise. Key Responsibilities Managing relationships with senior stakeholders across the firm's tax networks. Developing and growing new client relationships, identifying and pursuing business opportunities. Leading a diverse portfolio of clients, from large corporate businesses to start-ups, and advising on complex tax issues. Acting as a subject matter expert, staying updated on changes in tax law and legislation to provide cutting-edge advice. Building market-leading relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders. Delivering presentations and knowledge sessions to share insights on the latest tax developments. Skills and Experience ACA and/or CTA certified (or equivalent international qualification). Expert knowledge of UK tax, with experience in complex issues affecting both local and international businesses. Proven track record in business development and identifying new market opportunities. Strong leadership and project management skills. Experience managing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams. Proficiency in using technology to manage client relationships and deliver analysis and solutions. Why This Role?
