Their Tax team is busy, growing and keen to appoint a Corporate Tax Director who has the ability to progress to Partner within three years. You'll play a strategic role within the team, working closely with experienced Partners as a key point of contact for clients. You’ll provide tax advisory services to a diverse range of dynamic clients, including large corporates and owner-managed businesses. You’ll take on a well-established book of business, but also be encouraged to grow the portfolio and to raise your name across the Bristol area. As a Corporate Tax Director, your key responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating exceptional tax technical expertise in a wide range of issues effecting OMBs and growing companies. - Developing relationships and identifying new business opportunities, supported by the Head of Department and team members. - Leading client relationships as the key point of contact. - Mentoring and nurturing associate directors and team members. - Contributing to the strategic management of the Tax department and wider office. You’ll need to be CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified with strong technical expertise in corporate and OMB tax services, gained in a leading professional services firm or boutique advisory practice. The role requires someone with good leadership and team management skills, as well as commercial acumen. You’ll also have a track record of building and nurturing fruitful client relationships and should be an accomplished networker with experience of assisting with generating new business opportunities. The role is based in central Bristol, but offers hybrid working 2-3 days a week on average. Salary will be dependent on experience but is likely to be in the region £90k-£100k + benefits and bonus.
