Corporate Tax Manager Following the opening of their brand new Birmingham office, my client is searching for a talented Corporate Tax Manager to join the team and play a key role in the moulding and development of the tax team to shape future success. My client has seen huge success in recent years, growing headcount by 100% in the last 5 years, winning 4 awards at the 2024 Accountancy Age awards. Their ambition hasn't fizzled out, with the firm aiming to reach 1000 employees by the end of the decade. The successful candidate will be involved in both compliance and advisory work, building strong relationships with new clients in the West Midlands, as well as being heavily involved in training and development, whether this be the coaching and development of junior members of the tax team or their own enrolment in business development courses to further round out their skillset. Responsibilities: Reviewing corporate tax computations completed by Tax Associates and Executives, ensuring accuracy and high-quality work that's in-line with the standards of the firm. Liaise with colleagues firmwide across all 9 offices, ensuring that the firm tax compliance requirements are met. Build relationships with clients, offering an excellent level of service to both new and existing accounts. Develop and coach trainees in the tax team, supporting their growth and development through supplying feedback on work, advice on exams, and being the 1st point of contact for any queries. Support the tax team with advisory work. Requirements: CTA qualified and/or ACA/ACCA qualified. Proven track-record of conducting reviews within a Corporate Tax compliance environment. Excellent communication skills with prior experience building strong relationships with clients. Confident in providing constructive feedback to team members to help them develop.
