A great opportunity for a CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified corporate tax professional to join the thriving Tax department of one of the region’s leading accountancy firms.
You’ll perform very much a client-facing role, as a key point of contact. Supported by high profile Tax Partners, you’ll develop your technical and managerial skills, whilst being supported with progression towards Senior Manager and Director grades.
As a Corporate Tax Manager, your role will involve managing a diverse portfolio of clients, from OMBs and SMEs to larger corporates. Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing corporate tax provisioning, compliance, and advisory tasks for your client portfolio.
Engaging in various business tax activities, such as ad-hoc advisory services, international tax issues, R&D tax credits, and awareness of VAT and employment tax aspects.
Participating in transactional and due diligence projects.
Delivering exceptional client service by maintaining regular communication with clients.
Collaborating with Partners, showcasing strong management abilities.
Conducting performance appraisals and monitoring staff performance.
Providing on-the-job training to junior team members individually.
Having a keen understanding of the firm's capabilities to facilitate cross-referrals and enhance overall client service.
The role is based in central Tunbridge Wells, but offers the scope to work from home a couple of days a week.
