About us We are a leading independent practice in York, having a significant presence in Yorkshire, as a long established, yet growing accountancy, tax and business advisory firm. Role overview Heading up our Corporation Tax services, you will have the responsibility for managing our Corporation Tax function, delivering a full range of tax services, in a role and environment where you can progress in your career. Duties will include: Preparing Corporation Tax computations and supporting tax returns for our most complex clients. Reviewing and final sign off on Corporation Tax computations and returns, prepared by other team members. Completing tax planning work, which will include areas such as group tax planning, property planning, capital allowances, R&D Tax Credits and s 455 tax planning. Dealing with HMRC enquiries. Building and maintaining client relationships. Identifying tax planning opportunities. Person specification / Academic requirements You will be ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified with a corporate tax background. Working arrangements The working week: 35 hours per week, to be worked from 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Location: Heritage House, Murton Way, Osbaldwick, York YO19 5UW. Remuneration and benefits Salary is negotiable, depending on experience. 36 days holiday (including bank holidays). BUPA healthcare. Pension scheme arrangements. Optical tests. Cycle-to-work scheme.
