With our Client we are looking to appoint a
Cost Accountant
- you will either be a Finalist CIMA / ACCA or be Qualified by Experience ideally from Manufacturing.
The Cost Accountant will report to the Finance Director and will work closely with the Production Manager - who is based on site within the Factory - so you will need to be mobile and proactive in building and maintaining a close working relationship.
Typically you will work across:
Preparation / Review and Report of Standard Costings Be part of the Annual Budget setting process / meetings Quarterly / Monthly prepare detailed review of Budget v Actual - with Analysis and Notes of Explanation Work with Finance and Non Finance Managers to establish and maintain tighter Cost Controls Work on a Project to review current Suppliers - review Costs / Value for Money etc - making Business suggestions if renegotiations are needed
The role of Cost Accountant will come with an Annual Salary of c £40,000 -£45,000 with:
Study Support to complete exams if needed Annual Salary Review and Appraisal 25 days holiday PLUS Bank Hols Flex start and finish time and an early finish on Friday Pension - which can be enhanced On Site Car Parking
