An opportunity has arisen for a

Cost Cap Analyst

to join the Jaguar TCS Racing department in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment.

About the role

A key role to ensure the financial integrity and compliance of the Formula E team with cost cap regulations, whilst balancing this effectively with the goals and objectives of motorsport racing.

What you will do

Work closely with the Senior Finance Analyst and the Formula E team to ensure compliance with the cost cap regulations set forth by the FIA.

Stay abreast of the latest cost cap regulations and guidance, ensuring that all financial practices align with the governing body’s requirements.

Analyse team expenditure, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and identifying potential cost overruns.

Prepare and maintain analytical reports on the current and projected cost cap position each season.

Support the budget and forecasting process for the Formula E projects, identifying ways to best track against cost cap requirements, identify issues and resolve them quickly.

Support the Formula E reporting process to ensure that financial actuals are up to date and accurate.

Support the FIA’s cost cap audit process.

About you

Proven experience in financial analysis, challenging norms and driving new ideas.

Proficient with ERP systems and Excel interrogating data and unravelling transaction trails to problem solve.

Be able to work accurately with exceptional attention to detail.

Be able to use Microsoft Office software and strong computer skills.

Microsoft D365 experience would be highly preferable.

Experience in the motorsport industry would be advantageous but is not essential.

Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
