Job Description Understand all sources of firm cost and the end-to-end process for expense recognition and measurement costs. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual cost closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Scrutinise financial data to identify potential savings and areas of improvement. Develop cost-effective strategies and action plans. Collaborate with financial and non-financial stakeholders. Ensure cost reduction without compromising quality or service. Keep abreast of industry trends and regulations. Implement cost standards for products and services. Review purchase orders and invoices. Prepare and present cost reports to senior management. The Successful Applicant A successful Cost Controller should have: Professional accountancy qualification, Eg, ICAS, ACCA, CIMA, etc Proficiency in financial software. Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. A thorough understanding of financial regulations and procedures. Experience in a similar role in the Financial Services industry. What's on Offer Competitive daily rate of around £450 GBP, subject to experience.
