Key Responsibilities Ensure cost variances are reported promptly and accurately, implementing corrective actions where necessary. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly costs to ensure budgets are adhered to and reporting is accurate. Prepare and submit interim valuations monthly to maintain positive project cash flow. Oversee interim valuations, applications for payment, and negotiate project final accounts. Produce internal cost/value reports when required. Evaluate hours allocated during the tender process against actual hours worked in fabrication. Conduct steel take-offs, measuring and qualifying materials from drawings and specifications. Raise and issue sub-contract orders where applicable (e.g., decking). Enter budgets and costings into the company's software systems. Manage and record contracts, bonds, retentions, and collateral warranty documentation. Attend client pre-construction and start meetings, as required. Work collaboratively with various departments to ensure proper cost allocation and control.
