I am currently recruiting for a Cost Engineer to join our client on a 12-month contract basis. The Cost Engineer will be responsible for managing and controlling project costs related to the installation of pond and pool liners around the nuclear reactor at Hinkley Point C. This includes preparing detailed cost estimates, monitoring project budgets, and ensuring financial performance aligns with project objectives. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in cost engineering within the Nuclear industry to support project delivery.

Rate: 35 Per Hour PAYE - Perm equivalent of circa 87,000 per year
Hours: 10 Hours Per Day
On Site
Rotation: 10/4
Accommodation allowance of 1140 per month.
Mileage paid on first and last day of trip
Paid Holiday: 25 days plus Bank Hols
8% Pension (matched)
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost engineering or related roles within large-scale Nuclear or engineering projects.
Previous experience in the nuclear industry or large infrastructure projects is highly advantageous.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Finance, or a related field is desirable.
Professional certification in cost engineering (e.g., AACE Certified Cost Professional) is desirable.
