A bit about the role... As the largest franchise of Costa Coffee, we are passionate about finding the right people for our business. Naturally, there are brand standards to adhere to, but there is also plenty of room to let your personality shine. We will be relying on you to be the shift leader in the absence of the Store Manager to ensure that Costa’s brand excellence and operational standards are maintained, meaning that every customer receives an unbeatable coffee experience. An expert on coffee, you’ll ensure the quality of our espresso, accurately measuring and recording the grind and dose. You will be responsible for training and coaching all Baristas and Barista Maestros, ensuring all your team members understand and deliver drinks to our high standards, as well as giving briefs on changes to drinks recipes and taking your team through the launch of any seasonal drinks. Leading by example and setting high standards, you'll enhance sales and provide our customers with excellent service, both in store across our Costa Collect and Delivery sales. A bit about you... We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to deputise for the Store Manager and train a motivated team of Baristas and Barista Maestros. Ambitious and commercially aware, with the presence and personality to influence the day-to-day business, you'll maximise your performance as well as the team's.
