You are instrumental in ensuring we provide the highest levels of service and Excellent Coffee with a Smile every time You will be responsible for monitoring internal store processes such as financial indicators, health and safety compliance and a range of other key performance indicators to ensure targets are met You will provide a supportive and encouraging atmosphere for your team in store, actively encouraging consistent improvement across all areas of performance You will take responsibility for the financial compliance and safety and security of your store, through vigilant observation and adherence to cash procedures Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all store documents including having rotas completed well in advance to ensure full coverage in store Monitor the recruitment needs of your store with the support of your Area Manager to ensure the most talented candidates are hired Take responsibility for the training and development of your team in store in order to nurture consistent progression. This includes monitoring completion of online training through My Costa Learning and in store performance and development plans Ensure that all Team Members in store are supported with their training journey to maximise sales opportunities through excellent presentation, optimal ordering and all relevant sales techniques such as upselling Keep up-to-date with relevant Costa Coffee brand standards and communications including internal Goldex Investments standards and communications to ensure compliance and the passing of Costa checks To ensure consistent communications with both your Line Manager and Office Staff to keep stores functioning. This includes payroll and HR queries, raising maintenance issues and submitting banking and any required paperwork on time Essential Requirements Enthusiasm to execute outstanding customer service Friendly manner Communicate confidently with customers and your team Flexible approach (ability to be multi-skilled) Willingness to learn Presentable and able to follow uniform brand standards Reliable & committed Flexible to be available for shifts Desirable Management experience in a coffee store Worked within a customer facing environment Worked in the hospitality/ retail industry
