COSTS LAWYER - NEWCASTLE

You will be responsible for: Preparing costs schedules and formal Court costs budgets. Undertaking costs negotiations with opponent solicitors. Collaborating with Partners to expand the social housing litigation offering and client base. Staying updated with changes in the law and engage in continuous professional development.
The successful candidate will ideally have more than two years post-qualification experience as a costs lawyer, although candidates with more or less experience will be considered on their merits. You will be able to demonstrate strong commercial awareness and analytical skills and have the ability to work to challenging timescales.
You do not need to have sector specific experience in social housing. Costs Lawyers from any area of law will be considered.
