Training and Qualifications
Doctoral level training in applied psychology, including specifically models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics and neuropsychology, two or more distinct psychological therapies, and lifespan developmental psychology as accredited by the BPS. Pre-qualification training and qualifications in research methodology or other fields of applied psychology. Experience
Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients across a full range of care settings, including mental health. Further specialist training or experience whilst working as a clinical psychologist. Experience of application of clinical psychology in physical and mental health settings, which may include maternity or CAMHS. Knowledge and Skills
Skills in the use of complex methods of psychological methods and intervention. High-level knowledge of theory and practice of at least two specialised psychological therapies. Other
Ability to teach and train others using a variety of complex multi-media materials. Experience of working in a multicultural framework.
