Clinical Lead We are seeking a Psychological Therapist / Psychotherapist / Counsellor / Clinical Psychologist especially CBT therapists. This is for in-person work with priority being given to weekend work. Introduction We’re Self Space, a contemporary mental health service offering a good conversation with a qualified person. After launching the world’s first on-demand mental health service right on the High Street in Shoreditch, London — we’re looking for brilliant therapists to join our mission to launch a Self Space on every High Street, in every city, across the UK and as part of this we are opening up a brand new three-room location in the middle of Soho. We are opening up accessible therapy with no waiting lists, no long faffy assessments — just good therapy there and then. Demand is outstripping our room capacity so we are growing to meet the needs of our clients and are super excited at opening yet another street-level therapy space and would love for brilliant therapists to come along and help us on our journey. To be digitally competent and administratively rigorous across note keeping and diary management. To be in regular supervision (external) and internal group supervision provided. To have the capacity to work autonomously within BACP, HCPC and other recognised ethical frameworks. Liaising with other professionals to ensure safety and wellbeing of our clients. Supporting us to continuously improve the quality of our service and safeguarding high standards of care by creating an environment in which excellence in mental health support will flourish. Person Specification Registered with appropriate regulatory/governing body (HCPC, BACP etc.) Minimum 3 years post-qualifying experience Have proof of Public Liability Insurance Have good knowledge of calendar, mail and booking systems Ability to challenge outdated and rigid approaches to therapy whilst upholding the highest clinical standards. Ability to be versatile and flexible in your approach therapy. Current Enhanced Children and Adult DBS Clearance (or be willing to undergo this). A desire to shift the culture around mental health and be a part of something at the forefront of that. Bonus Points For Specialist training in CBT (IAPT) and treatment of OCD. Confidence in representing Self Space in other areas of its work (writing, presenting and delivering workshops, groups and talks). A rich lived experience. A deep understanding of our brand, mental maintenance and preventative approaches to mental health, not just reactive. Psychosexual training and experience. LGBTIQA+ experience.
