Permanent Job Description: Successful candidates will utilize their proven track record in sales to identify, qualify, establish, and maintain profitable business relationships for the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. Whilst managing and in collaboration with their team, they will sell logistics solutions i.e. 3PL, LLP, and general freight services to large-sized companies in various sectors such as chemical, life science, consumer products, and retail industries. Drive new revenue and increase market share in a defined territory and industry. Manage and optimize the sales strategy implementing all aspects of the sales cycle. Develop long-term strategic relationships with new and key customers. Actively work together with the operations team to optimize global operations in identifying and developing services and solutions. Job Requirements: To be successful in the role you will have: A solid background in Freight Forwarding and Logistics at a senior sales level and proven ability to secure and build on relationships with C-level executives and other stakeholders. Fluency in English; proficiency in any other European language is a plus. Proven track record of meeting Company KPIs and objectives. Experience with implementing Company-wide sales strategies and clearly defining the sales process. Running/maintaining an accurate pipeline and monthly market forecast. Independent, creative, and self-disciplined with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Targeting leading Companies in multiple industry verticals (Chemical, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Retail, and Automotive). Qualifications / Experience required: Candidate should possess a university degree preferred (or an equivalent combination of work and education). Experience of working within a matrixed environment.
