You will provide services to members of the Farmer's Union of Wales (FUW). You will be experienced and knowledgeable of current and potential future Welsh Government schemes available for farmers and are able to complete most grant applications on behalf of members of the FUW. Ideally you will have experience in delivering on-farm advice and have a strong working knowledge of the agriculture sector. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all internal meetings and member committees that form the democratic basis of the organisation are held timely and effectively. You will be responsible for communicating and explaining agricultural policy to the members as well as ensuring that the members' opinions are communicated internally through the FUW reporting system. As the CEO you will also be responsible for building and developing our relationship as a Union with local stakeholders such as local authorities, elected representatives and other relevant stakeholders. You will be supported by local support staff and the head office team. You will work closely with our agricultural policy team as well as the county office staff in 12 counties across Wales. The role will require the successful candidate to contribute to the development and structure of the FUW's agri-environmental services across North Wales. About you: A degree in Agricultural / Environmental Science or a related subject would be desirable. A qualification, or a willingness to work towards a qualification such as FACTS / BASIS would also be an advantage. You will also have a thorough understanding of the farming industry at national and UK levels. In addition you will need to be; A natural communicator who enjoys meeting and helping people Responsible for promoting the aims and values of the Union Focusing on attracting new members and serving our existing membership base contributing to a steady growth of the membership portfolio Promoting and selling other services provided by FUW Limited Providing advice with regards to environmental and agri-environmental rules and processes to our members Establishing and maintaining strong local networks concentrating on the needs of the agricultural sector Ynglŷn â'r rôl: Byddwch yn darparu gwasanaethau i aelodau Undeb Amaethwyr Cymru (UAC). Fe fyddwch yn gallu cwblhau'r mwyafrif o geisiadau grant ar gyfer ffermwyr sy'n aelodau o’r Undeb. Yn ddelfrydol, bydd gennych brofiad o ddarparu cyngor ar ffermydd ynghyd â gwybodaeth weithredol gref o'r sector amaeth. Byddwch hefyd yn gyfrifol am sicrhau bod pob cyfarfod a phwyllgor mewnol gyda’r aelodau, sef sail democrataidd yr Undeb, yn cael eu cynnal yn amserol ac yn effeithiol. Byddwch yn gyfrifol am gyfathrebu ac egluro polisïau amaethyddol i'r aelodau yn ogystal â sicrhau bod barn yr aelodau'n cael ei chyfleu’n fewnol trwy broses adrodd yn ôl yr Undeb. Fel Swyddog Sirol fe fyddwch yn gyfrifol am adeiladu a datblygu ein perthynas fel Undeb gyda rhyngddeiliaid lleol megis awdurdodau lleol, cynrychiolwyr etholedig a rhyngddeiliaid perthnasol eraill. Fe'ch cefnogir gan dîm lleol o staff cynorthwyol a thîm y brif swyddfa. Byddwch yn gweithio'n agos gyda'n tîm polisi amaethyddol yn ogystal â staff mewn 12 swyddfa sirol ledled Cymru. Bydd y rôl yn ei gwneud yn ofynnol i'r ymgeisydd llwyddiannus gyfrannu at strwythur a datblygiad gwasanaethau amaeth-amgylcheddol UAC ar draws Gogledd Cymru. Amdano chi: Byddai gradd mewn Gwyddor Amaethyddol / Amgylcheddol neu bwnc cysylltiedig yn ddymunol. Fe fyddai cymhwyster, neu’r awydd i weithio tuag at gymhwyster megis BASIS a / neu FACTS yn fanteisiol. Bydd gennych hefyd ddealltwriaeth drylwyr o'r diwydiant ffermio ar lefelau cenedlaethol a'r DU. Yn ychwanegol fe fydd angen i chi fod yn; Gyfathrebwr naturiol sy'n mwynhau cyfarfod a helpu pobl Yn gyfrifol am hyrwyddo nodau a gwerthoedd yr Undeb Yn canolbwyntio ar ddenu aelodau newydd a gwasanaethu’r aelodaeth bresennol gan gyfrannu at dwf cyson i'r portffolio aelodaeth Hyrwyddo a gwerthu gwasanaethau eraill a ddarperir gan UAC Cyf.
