Run your own court of protection caseload Manage your clients’ personal affairs Make applications to the court and be appointed as Deputy/Welfare Deputy Assist with decisions relating to retirement of an incapacitated trustee, putting in place a statutory will, making gifts from the individual’s assets and entering into a mortgage/loan arrangements Support lay deputies in line with the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and the Code of Practice Assist with annual reports required by the Court Gain exposure to more complex matters as your knowledge and experience increase What do you need?
