The school is looking to appoint a highly motivated and organised Cover Manager to arrange long-term and short-term cover needs and lead a team of cover supervisors. The team consists of 3 cover supervisors who deliver cover lessons when teaching staff are absent. The Cover Manager will also be required to act as a Cover Supervisor as required, to oversee whole classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher.

Location - Tadley, Hampshire Position - Cover Manager Type of work - Cover Manager and Cover Supervisor work Contract or position start date - January 2025 Duration / Likely Duration - Permanent Contract or position end date (if applicable) - Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Permanent Full time/part time - Full time Minimum rate of pay - £21,780 - £23,963 actual salary (£26,918 - £29,616 FTE) Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm, plus parents evenings
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Experience of working in secondary schools at KS3 and KS4 Office administration experience Management of a team of people experience
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years
