As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading lessons in the absence of the regular teacher. You will ensure that students remain engaged in their classwork, maintain a positive classroom environment, and support their learning and development. Your role will also involve handling student behaviour and maintaining a productive, respectful, and supportive classroom atmosphere.
Supervising pupils during lessons and ensuring they are engaged with their work. Providing feedback to teachers regarding students' progress and behaviour. Reporting any concerns in accordance with child protection and confidentiality policies. Supporting pupils with a wide range of abilities and encouraging their academic success.

Good knowledge of the national curriculum for Key Stages 3 and 4. Experience working with young people in an educational setting. Confident in leading and supervising lessons for mixed-ability students. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Able to manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Available immediately and able to commute to Sutton.
