Cover Supervisor

in

Aldershot , you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of students' education during teacher absences. You will supervise classes, ensuring that students remain engaged and on task with their learning activities. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in a supportive and inclusive educational setting. Key Responsibilities of Cover Supervisor Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain focused and engaged with their learning activities. Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher, delivering instructions and managing classroom behaviour effectively. Provide support to students, answering questions and assisting with their learning as needed. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a smooth and effective learning experience for students. Keep accurate records of student attendance and behaviour, reporting any issues to the appropriate staff members. Requirements of Cover Supervisor Experience working with secondary school students is advantageous. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, and colleagues. Ability to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment. Flexibility and adaptability to work in different classroom settings and with various age groups. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students. Why Join Us?
