Cover Supervisor
to join our network of talented educators, working across various Secondary Schools in Southampton. If you are looking for a flexible, rewarding role where you can make a real impact in students learning and development, we want to hear from you! As a Cover Supervisor, you will provide essential support by managing classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher. You will have the opportunity to work in different school environments, gaining valuable experience and making a difference in the lives of students, all while enjoying the flexibility of supply work. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage the classroom to ensure students remain on task and engaged during lessons. Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans, ensuring that students follow the work set by the regular teacher. Manage classroom behaviour, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment. Provide support to students with their academic work and assist with any queries they may have. Report back on student progress and any issues to the relevant staff at the school. What We re Looking For: A positive, proactive attitude with a passion for supporting students learning. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and manage groups of students. Classroom management experience, or the ability to demonstrate strong behaviour management skills. Previous experience working in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
