About the Role: SAAF Education is recruiting Cover Supervisors for various schools across London. We work with a wide range of schools looking for reliable, confident, and proactive individuals to provide cover for teachers and maintain classroom discipline in the absence of the regular teaching staff. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain experience in the education sector, particularly in a classroom management role, while supporting students across a range of subjects and age groups. Key Responsibilities:

Supervise students during lessons in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring they remain on task and complete their work. Manage classroom behavior, ensuring students adhere to school policies and maintaining a positive and productive learning environment. Provide support to students who may need additional help with their tasks. Follow lesson plans and ensure students stay engaged and focused during lessons. Report any issues or concerns to the relevant teaching staff or school leadership. Support the smooth running of lessons and the overall functioning of the school during staff absences. Key Requirements:

Previous experience working with young people, either in an educational or youth-focused setting (ideally as a cover supervisor or teaching assistant). Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain discipline. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students. A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to respond effectively to a variety of classroom situations. A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures. A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a willingness to work with a diverse range of students and subjects. Summary:
