Job Overview: The role of CPU Cluster Management is a phenomenal opportunity to drive the future of Client compute solutions. We are looking for someone with experience in the CPU industry who is looking to take that technical knowledge and experience and combine it into this management role. You will be instrumental in the management of all CPU cluster products throughout their lifecycle including market requirements capture and business planning, product positioning, competitive industry trends and analysis, creation and maintenance of marketing collateral, launch planning and execution, press and analyst briefings, support of sales opportunities and definition of the product roadmap. This far-reaching and high-visibility role within Arm offers many opportunities to work with a wide variety of Arm groups including segment strategy, go-to-market teams, legal, finance to other Lines of Businesses. The position provides an excellent opportunity to work directly with all the leading semiconductor manufacturers and with many of the industry players, building further your network! You will drive and shape products well ahead of their introduction. Travel nationally and internationally expected to be 20%. Responsibilities: Leading the full product lifecycle of CPU clusters starting with product definition through approvals, development, release and maintenance. Working closely with engineering teams worldwide to ensure product features and engineering schedules are signed off against the business plan. Produce the necessary arguments to support project justification. Management of relationships with Arm partners (customers) in conjunction with Account Managers (sales and FAEs) to secure licensing commitments and design wins. Development of collateral including presentations, white papers, benchmarks for products and their applicability in the context of Arm’s roadmaps and customer applications. Analysis of the competitive landscape with benchmarks and product positioning messaging and apply strategies to explore new markets. Required Skills and Experience: Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science Proven experience working as a Product Manager in the semiconductor CPU field Experience writing business plans and commercial justifications Interpersonal Skills: Capable of working as a great teammate or independently Excellent interpersonal and communication skills High degree of initiative and a tried problem solver Self-starter and a 'getting-things-done' demeanor “Nice To Have” Skills and Experience: Management of CPU or SoC products in the laptop space, with excellent knowledge of interconnect type products Strong engineering background in high-performance CPUs with good understanding of the semiconductor landscape In-depth knowledge of microprocessor design, including CPU hardware and software especially on the Arm instruction set architecture (ISA) for Armv8-A and Armv9-A instruction sets Understanding of SoC design, system interconnects, bus architectures and topology configurations including cache coherency, QoS (Quality of Service) and AMBA bus interface standards Knowledge of EDA flows for implementation, system and software development Experience of customer interaction of a technical nature – ideally in a field applications, technical support role or through engineering development work Understanding of process technology nodes and implementation of IP products In Return: You will join the team driving all Client CPUs with significant opportunities to build our future success of these products in the fast-paced Mobile and AI space.
