Annual Salary: £52,201.30
Shift: 4 on 4 off, 2 days followed by 2 nights (12 hours per shift)
Primary purpose and function of position: These shift-based roles report to the Brewing First Line Manager (“FLM”). You will be part of a multi-skilled team responsible for supporting Packaging, Brewing, and Utilities departments through consistent professional delivery of effective and efficient maintenance to maximize equipment availability and uptime. Responsible for routine maintenance and inspection, troubleshooting, fault diagnosis/rectification on automated & PLC controlled equipment, automated packing machinery, and site services (compressors, fridge, and boiler plant) across all areas of the brewery.
Undertake training and carry out new tasks in support of equipment optimisation, utilisation, performance, and reliability in accordance with maintenance reliability measures and recommendations.
Key Tasks: Responsibilities
Must be willing and capable to work shifts or flexible day shift (some weekends), depending on business needs and reasonable advanced notice.
Must own and supply basic tools to complete work required under area of expertise; specialist tools required are provided by ABInBev.
Embrace management tools such as VPO (Voyager Plant Optimization) used to drive 5S standards and plant management fundamentals to achieve brewery KPI (Key Process Indicator) targets.
Key Tasks: Accountabilities
Ensure compliance at all times with company safety policy, objectives, and relevant statutes/requirements.
Complete equipment lock out tag outs as required.
Maintain and improve all aspects of work. Follow all quality procedures to ensure that the first-time quality of our products and service is guaranteed.
Carry out planned maintenance tasks and take an active role in the running of the scheme, logging downtime, faults, and reporting work carried out with improvement feedback.
Assist FLM in the prioritisation of work orders.
Recommend/advise on Preventive Maintenance improvements.
Manage work orders for emergency work and ensure that all emergency tasks are entered into the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Actively suggest equipment improvements and support product quality and World Class initiatives.
Remain fully flexible within the team to meet existing and future engineering challenges.
Mentor individuals within the team in areas of your expertise.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience required: It is essential that you are competent in your core field as qualified Electrical Engineers. However, it is desirable that you can demonstrate an aptitude and desire to learn in your non-core field. The ideal candidate will be multi-skilled.
Demonstrable experience working safely in a high-speed manufacturing/processing environment within a maintenance department or comparable technical services team.
Knowledge of high-speed packaging equipment and machinery as well as batch process control used in brewing systems.
Excellent electrical fault-finding skills.
Understanding of electrical installation and one-line diagrams.
17th Edition Qualified.
