The Role : We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Fitter to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of our maintenance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our fleet of cranes operates at peak performance and adheres to the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Key Responsibilities : Conduct regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various types of cranes, including mobile, tower, and crawler cranes. Diagnose faults and implement corrective measures. Perform routine checks and scheduled maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure longevity of equipment. Collaborate with the operations team to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimise downtime. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Keep accurate records of work carried out and parts utilized. Provide technical support and advice to the team and clients when necessary. Participate in continuous training and development to keep up with industry standards and technological advancements. Requirements : Relevant qualifications such as an NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent. Proven experience as a Crane Fitter, Plant Mechanic, or similar role. In-depth knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Familiarity with health and safety standards and a commitment to applying safety practices at all times. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A valid UK driving licence. Desirable : CPCS Card Holder or equivalent. Experience with specific brands and models of cranes in our fleet. Welding and fabrication skills. We Offer : A competitive salary commensurate with experience.
